The Agora is hosting the Valencia Fashion Week Posted: 08 Sep 2011 02:38 AM PDT New appointment in the Agora of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia to present proposals for the upcoming Spring-Summer 2012. The XI VFW is held in the Agora of the City of Arts and Sciences from September 7 to 10, 2011. The XI Valencia Fashion Week will take place until next September 10 at the Agora. And, this year the Agora’s Lake is hosting the Zone Off: a catwalk formed by a tour over the lake, which will present the current proposals in swimwear from Wednesday 7 to Friday 9 September at 11.30 pm. Regarding the side events, stand out Javier Calvo’s and fashion photographs’s exhibitions, as well as the new fashion and design area: BLACKSPACE. More than 50 spaces for national designers, to promote trade and foster professional relationships among participants, in order to boost sales, promote brand image and networking. On Saturday 10, on the VFW's catwalk will be held celebrating the Figaro Hairdressing II Awards, that brings together 15 finalists selected from 97 collections of 13 Communities to choose their 5 awards. Throughout the last day, the parallel activities will go on in the Village, and we will also have the parade's novelty at noon, on the catwalk of the lake: fashionsocialnet-fsn. Last time the Agora of the City of Arts and Sciences hosted until February 4 the Valencia Fashion Week. This Valencia fashion event brought together 30 Valencian designers which presented the prêt-à-porter collections looking to this autumn/winter 2011-2012.
