VISIT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE AQUARIUM

The tour includes visits to the veterinary clinic and analysis laboratory with its fully equipped ‘hospital’ area, where specialists can treat animals requiring special attention and analyse water quality, food samples and various biological specimens.

Within the Oceanogràfic’s technical gallery, visitors call by the food preparation section, the technical area of the Oceans exhibition, where they learn about feeding sharks, and the quarantine zone for fish and invertebrates. There follows a tour of the area devoted to the recovery and conservation of sea animals, where turtles, beached or found in distress along the Valencian coast, are treated.

These visits are scheduled daily at 12.30 in Spanish. Check activity during hight season at our call center 901 100 031.

Price: 10€ per person, a general admisión ticket for the Parc is needed. Tickets may be purchased at the Oceanogràfic's ticket office.

Groups of a minimum of 2, maximum of 15.

Bird of prey exhibition

Visitors have the chance to attend a performance of birds of prey in different sites of the Oceanogràfic (aquarium). Flight demonstrations allow the audience into the fascinating world of such birds as eagles, hawks, vultures and owls, among others.

Price: Activity included in the Oceanográfic ticket price.

sleeping with sharks The Oceanográfico offer you the opportunity to sleep surrounden by sharks an to spend an adventurous night with your friends, your parents, or your school. After a supper and a previous activity, you will have the chance to sleep in the Océanos Tower that represents a voyage through the Atlantic Ocean and where species such as the bull shark and the grey shark can be seen together with the sawfish and the sunfish, among others.

This suggestion from the City of Arts and Sciences is intended both for schools and for groups of friends with small children and families who want to experience a different and special day out with their children. Moreover, the next day you get to know the remaining installations of the Oceanográfico and perhaps also visit the Science Museum and attend a projection session at the Hemisfèric.

XIII Valencia Fashion Week

In the thirteenth edition the proposed for 2013 spring/summer of participants designers will be exhibited, with parades on the official catwalk in the morning and afternoon, reserving the night for the presentation of the collections of bathroom.
