Christmas at the City of Arts and Sciences Posted: 07 Dec 2011 02:31 AM PST The Science Museum hosts a Christmas market, which is open at 11 a.m. hours to 9 p.m. hours (except December 24 and 31, and January 5 with a schedule of 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and on December 25 and January 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. hours), in whose surroundings activities aimed to kids are carried out, such as animation workshops, storytelling, magic, face painting, among others. Have been scheduled workshops to observe how they perform various classic trades. From 11 a.m. to 12 p. m., and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., children can participate in these workshops and practice the craft of a potter, a leather worker, esparto grass worker, and work elements like mud and skin. Throughout the day, the public can play with the family in the traditional and giant games playroom, which have a wooden house, a sand-pit and bounces. Also, Christmas activities include magic and juggling sessions, dance workshops, storytelling and percussion, from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 6 pm to 7 p.m. A Christmas workshop on public have the opportunity to make beaded bracelets, nativity scenes, Christmas hangings, key chains, balloon twisting, and during all the time, face painting, complete the Christmas programme of the City of Arts and Sciences. In addition, during these days the City of Arts and Sciences will have the visit of the Three Wise Man of Orient Emissary, to who kids can do hand-delivery of his letter from 11a.m. to 12 p.m. and 8 p.m to 9 p.m.
